Two Coarse Plays and a Two-Course Meal

In May 2011, we performed Two Coarse Plays by Michael Green and Rupert Bean: Pride at Southanger Park - a Period Romance; and Trapped - a Country House Thriller. Coarse Acting is a send-up of bad amateur dramatics, when the cast try their best to put on a successful show – it’s just that everything keeps going wrong!

We became The Cullingworth Players for the evening – complete with our own Cullingworth Players characters, who tried to act as well as possible in very difficult circumstances. "Mishaps" included missed cues, forgotten lines, scenery falling down and much more!

The audience were also treated to a two-course meal between the two plays - courtesey of the Haslingfield Village Chefs.
