THE HAPPIEST DAYS OF YOUR LIFE

Performed in May 2010, The Happiest Days of Your Life, by John Dighton is a period farce set just after WWII. It concerned a boys' boarding school, which was thrown into chaos when a girls' school was accidentally sent by the Ministry of Devacuation to share premises with the boys.

This challenging production required split-second timing of entrances and exits to maintain the fast pace of the play; as well as in-depth analysis of each character by every cast member. The set included costumes and furniture which invoked the authenic feeling of a 1946 Master's Common Room - no easy feat for our set and costume designers.
