Museum Mayhem

In July 2009, YLT performed Museum Mayhem, a play which was created by the members themselves - using a complex and sophisticated process devised by Covent Garden Opera. It began with two weekend workshops, when the children decided on the theme of their play. They subsequently wrote the script and lyrics, designed the set, lighting and costumes, and began the composition of the music. A week of intense rehearsals followed later in the year, which culminated in an energetic and polished performance to a paying public on the Friday evening.
